  1. I think this is a very intriguing article considering the current debate on women's rights in regard to employment and salary. The term 'feminist' is not commonly thrown around anymore. I never thought about a negative stigma attaching itself. But it is true; one has to protect our social identity. To fight for equal sexual rights and state one is a feminist is almost taboo. Women shouldn't have to choose their words carefully just because it will sway other people's view on them. No one wants to have a negative stigma and view about them. How do you make forward progress in negative light? I do believe women have taken enormous strides toward equality, but is the battle over? No, it's not. There will probably always be negative stereotypes and stigmas, but can female leaders take a stance to change those views throughout the future, absolutely. It will take time and energy, but we need to try. Feminism shouldn't be one-side, degrading men for the unequal rights we see. Feminism is about empowering women to stand strongly on their own two feet to be able fully take part in social structures.
