This article, in my opinion, was very interesting and could be reviewed in many different ways. I remember hearing Romney's birth certificate "joke" on practically every news station and the only thing I could think of to call in was inappropriate. The controversy of whether or not President Obama was born in the United States has already been visited numerous times by many different people. It was over and out of the spotlight and Romney brought the discussions back with even more fervor than before. Was this some sort of political stunt to take the spotlight off of Romney and all the questions that he has refused to answer or specify upon? Many would argue yes, and I am not going to jump to conclusions and say that this is true. Romney could have been using this as a tactic to show that he is truly American, no questions asked. Although just because Obama doesn’t have a name like Joe Smith that doesn’t mean that he is not a great and country loving American. All in all I think that Romney should stick to politics and leave the comedy to people who actually know the meaning of the word.
